NGONG PING 360 / GIANT BUDDHA
This Journey of Enlightenment involves a stunning 5.7 metres cable car ride up the side of a mountain on Lantau Island to a culturally themed village next to the Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. Measuring 34 metres high and weighing 220 tonnes, the Giant Buddha of the Po Lin Monastery is the world’s largest copper statue of a sitting Buddha and one of Hong Kong’s most famous tourist attractions. The nearby Ngong Ping Village also offers several themed attractions, shops and restaurants.
Ngong Ping 360 : Take the MTR to MTR Tung Chung Station Exit B, follow the directional signs and walk for around 5 minutes.
Giant Buddha : 5-minute walk from Ngong Ping Village (adjacent to the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Terminal).
